"There is something magical about children's books.

I've witnessed this magic of storytelling unfold through many years as an educator in the elementary grades and through the countless stories I've read to my own young family.

My journey as a children's author began with a story inspired by a real event involving my father (as a young boy), my grandmother, and a rescued bird. As I wrote the manuscript, my creativity flourished, and what began as recording a legacy story has inspired ideas for future books.

I set out to write books that not only entertain children but also teach them important life lessons."

Julie lives in Winter Park, FL. She is a wife, mom, nana, teacher, and dog lover. She seeks to give God glory throughout her daily life and finds beauty in ordinary moments.
